Looking for highly motivated undergraduate and Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows to join the Laboratory of Neuroplasticity and Brain Dysfunction. Our lab employs state-of-the-art techniques, including whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology, in vitro and in vivo optogenetics, in vivo calcium imaging to explore the neurobiological mechanisms underlying drug addiction, fetal and adolescent alcohol exposure. We also explore the synaptic and circuit alterations underlying the neural substrates of psychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer's disease, Huntington’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
