research positions available in ma lab
Looking for highly motivated undergraduate and Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows to join the Laboratory of Neuroplasticity and Brain Dysfunction. Our lab employs state-of-the-art techniques, including whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology and in vitro and in vivo optogenetics, to explore the neurobiological mechanisms underlying drug addiction, fetal and adolescent alcohol exposure and neurodegenration. We also explore the synaptic and circuit alterations underlying the neural substrates of psychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer's disease, Huntington’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. Please feel free to contact Dr. Yao-Ying Ma at firstname.lastname@example.org or directly submit your applications as instructed below.
